1. Angie Grace

Angie Grace is the force behind 55 coloring books, each containing 50 original coloring designs. Rather than highlighting only one of Angie's five coloring book series, I have chosen to include examples from three of her series: Angie's Extreme Stress Menders (extremely intricate designs in a relaxingly centered and balanced circular format), Angie's Gentle Mood Menders (featuring roomy coloring spaces and high visibility lines for when you want a gentle and cozy coloring experience), and Angie's Patterns (square format patterns - note: as the volume number goes up in this series, the drawings get increasingly challenging).

2. Emma Farrarons: Mindfulness Coloring Series

Emma Farrarons is the illustrator behind the wildly successful Mindfulness Coloring Series. These pocket-sized coloring books are designed to provide an easy way to devote a few minutes to coloring as an exercise in mindfulness. Reinforced binding with strong glue allows you to open and lay the book flat to color with intricate detail without breaking the spine.

3. Johanna Basford

Johanna Basford's adult coloring books are filled with beautiful hand-drawn illustrations. Intricately detailed depictions of flora and fauna are predominant in her work.

4. The Color Me Series

Art therapist Lacy Mucklow and artist Angela Porter teamed up to create the bestselling Color Me series. Each book features 100 coloring templates, organized into seven therapeutically themed chapters, and offers adults an opportunity to explore the benefits of putting pencil (or crayon or marker!) to paper.

5. Millie Marotta

Millie Marotta's bestselling adult coloring books are filled with intricate nature based illustrations. Her love of pattern and detail are evident on each stunning page.

6. Just Add Color

Just Add Color is an adult coloring book series from Rockport Publishers. Each book features 30 original illustrations. While numerous illustrators have contributed to books in the series, Lisa Congdon illustrated all three of the books featured below.
